The short explanation of this alert was:

Election Day, November 2nd, is fast approaching, and we at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee are excited about our prospects for taking back the majority.  With the Majority on our minds we are coming to you for help in recruiting Get Out The Vote Volunteers. 

The ground operations that our campaigns will run during the final weeks and days of the campaign can make the difference between a win and a loss on November 2nd -- and concurrently the difference between 49, 50 and 51 Democratic Senate seats. 

The DSCC needs to fan out across the country to help our campaigns with GOTV.  We will take volunteers who can work for one day, 4 days, a week, or even a month - it does not matter.  We will work with each volunteer to arrange transportation, housing, and other logistics.  All you need is comfortable clothes, some cash for minor expenses, and your energy and desire to WIN!
